Send in the Hounds Tour

Tyler Childers' Send in the Hounds Tour brought his Appalachian roots to arenas and amphitheaters across North America, and the stage had to match. The vision called for raw rock formations, lush foliage, moss, and trees that made audiences feel like they'd stepped into the Kentucky hills.

Stacked Hearts was brought in to fabricate the entire scenic package from the ground up. Working from an inspiration deck, the Stacked Hearts fabrication team hand-carved foam into realistic rock formations, painting each piece to hold up under stage lighting and on camera. Hundreds of pieces of artificial foliage, moss, and trees were sourced and integrated into the set, and custom touring carts were built to move every element safely from city to city throughout the run. Stacked Hearts' role ended at delivery, but the world they built traveled with Tyler Childers to every stop on the tour.
